DOHaD Canada has a number of committees that help the society achieve its mission, locally, nationally and internationally.

Education and Training Committee (Chair: Gerlinde Metz)
Goal – The committee works on developing and implementing educational and training opportunities for trainees and early career investigators, and facilitating public outreach.

Trainee Development Committee (Co-Chairs: Dr. Elnaz Vaghef Mehrabani and Dr. Gillian England-Mason)
Goal – Represent and connect with the DOHaD Canada trainees, and create professional development opportunities

Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Indignity Committee (Co-Chair: Dr. Deborah Slobada and Dr. Kozeta Miliku)
Goal -The committee aims to develop and maintain a dynamic and inclusive organization where the principles and practices of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Indigeneity (EDII) are harmoniously woven into the foundation of our Society. Our mission is to recognize, challenge and dismantle systemic barriers, promote diversity, create inclusive spaces and support Indigenous knowledge and relationships, while upholding the values of Belonging, Dignity, and Justice.

Goal – The committee is involved in supporting the meeting organizers in the development of the scientific program at the annual meetings, including abstracts/posters; emphasis on inclusions and diversity

Engagement, Communications and Outreach Committee (Chair: Stephane Bourque)
The goal of the Engagement, Communications and Outreach Committee is to develop and implement a multi-faceted communication and outreach strategy that promotes consistent and timely dissemination of pertinent information to DOHaD Canada members, and to diverse audiences with interests in DOHaD-related themes.
